4v3 Versus...

Playing with some mates who dont play very often, I was treated to quite a few moments where all i could do was stare and laugh...
I had one hunted, and watched as the other 3 stood just in front of him, facing the other direction, while he sat as his computer opposite me doing nothing...
I incapped him, and then said "You may want to say something."
He looked up and said "Yeah maybe", then his teammates realised what was going on and came back to help him... This scenario happened quite a few times over the 2 campaigns we played...

I smoked Zoey off the minigun in the finale, and she got stuck on the ledge next to it... I watched francis walk over to her while boomed, getting hit by common all the way, slowly cycle through his weapons, pull out a molotov, and throw it in my general direction... It went past me and set the area behind me alight, but didnt get me at all... He then turned and walked away from zoey, leaving her tied up...

v!x played a few friendly matches against the 3rd Fallschirmjager and the Crazy Bill Clan...
I liked my tanking for the night, so here are some tank vids, and a couple of scratches that we found quite funny...

Map: No Mercy Finale...
4v4 Versus...

Early tank spawned in the corridor as per CEVO standards...
I spawned as the smoker, intending to pull one towards the tank...
A molly was thrown, putting the tank on fire...
The Boomer, Timmy_000 spawned behind the survivors in the stairwell, and covered 3 or 4 on goop...
I grabbed MHz's Raging Tyrant, and dragged him through the fire into the oncoming horde...
Lucky for me he was boomed, and he took all the zombies himself...
This epic smoke took him from full HP to 3/4 dead after incap before the tank died, and me and my zombies finished him off before the other survivors could save him...

Smoker []patteh pulls Zoey off the roof, hanging her above the gap...
I pounce her into the gap, killing her instantly...
Pat then pulls Bill, and I again pounce him to his death...
Pat then pulls Louis, and again I pounce...
3 nicely lined up corpses... one life each for me and pat...

Monday, June 29, 2009 Just... hanging around...

Map: Blood Harvest Barn...
4v4 Versus...

While our team wasn't looking, Francis had climbed on top of the barn, and somehow fallen off at exactly the right spot to turn around and hang on to the ledge...
Zoey came to save him, and somehow ALSO fell off and hung on for her life...
Bill then came to save those two, and, as smoker, I tried to pull him off in the same spot as the other two that were hanging...
I didn't quite get it right and dragged him off the roof instead...
Louis was the only one left standing, but only just... He had just recovered from being hunted and didn't have much health left...
A single swipe from a ninja hunter solved this problem for us, and we got the team down...

This is the story of a bot fail, and a player who just didnt care as his team had raged on him...
As a Smoker, I spawned in the Death Pull spot, and managed to pull BillBot all the way to the edge...
ZoeyBot and FrancisBot came to his rescue, and ZoeyBot somehow managed to fall off the edge and hang on for her life...
FrancisBot then 'saved' BillBot, sending him falling into the void below...
A Hunter then pounced on FrancisBot before he could rescue ZoeyBot, and Louis, who had run all the way to the last train, also got hunted...

Thursday, May 14, 2009 Epic Smoking again...

4v4 Versus...

We pulled Bill off the edge at the start, and then I boomed louis...
Somehow, Francis is pushed off the edge, and instead of hanging for his life, falls to his death...
Hunters and horde distractions later, I respawn as a smoker off the edge, and pull Bill off the edge again...
This time, its Zoey who is pushed to her death, and then Louis is hunted on the edge...
Win to Us...

Saturday, May 2, 2009 Hanging Around...

Map: Dead Air 2...
4v4 Versus...

The survivors got to the crescendo point, and our smoker spawned on the building they had to go to... Francis goes to investigate and is smoked off the edge...
Bill comes to save him and is pounced...

He is saved, then the others all come over to protect him as he picks up Francis...
The smoker pulls a second one off the edge, leaving two standing...
A hunter lands an awesome 25er on Zoey, and incaps her...
Louis is the last one standing, and saves Zoey from the hunter, and turns to pick up one of the hanging survivors...
Our newly spawned boomer walks up behind him and starts scratching him...
He gets about 5 hits in before is shot from the ground, and his explosion knocks Francis off to his death...

AI Smoker Gravity Hacks...

After servers screwing up, games crashing, and voice chat issues, we had a great game...
We lost by 12 points in the end...

In NM3, we got a Tank, and were left with an AI smoker standing on the white building between the spwan room and the garage with T2 weapons...
He did nothing...

Friday, May 1, 2009 Tower of Death Toll...

Map:Death Toll 3...
4v4 Versus...

Zoey made her way to the top of the tower at the start alone, and was instantly targeted by a hunter and a smoker...
She was at the window, and the smoker grabbed her before the hunter could...
She was dragged out the window, only to be stopped by something before falling to certain death...
Her teammates saved her without killing the hunter or smoker, and then our hunter tried to pounce her again... He wasn't able to, so he swiped her and knocked her out the window, where she hung on for her life...
Bill came to save her, and was hunted, and the other 2 jumped in quickly and saved him...
Francis started helping up Zoey as the boomer walked in and vomited, then exploded...
This knocked back the 3 still standing and Francis had to start picking up Zoey again...
This lasted until the smoker recharged, and smoked him through the window...

With a bit more constant pressure, the team all died in that tower...

Map: No Mercy Hospital

1v2 Versus

 

I was having an innocent game with my friends. It was all good, me and my friend were progressing through the level well, we abandoned the bots, to run into my other friend, as the infected, behind the corner. We go mugged by all the zombies we missed. I managed to get incaped, but was quickly aided by the bots and my friend. We got to the elevator, saving our medkits for a Tank battle. We get onto the elevator, friend closes the door, and I somehow fall out while the doors closed. Im like what the hell, like both friends. I wasnt Smoker'ed, no one got Hunter'ed behind me, nor was I molotov'ed or pipe bomb'ed. I then later get attacked by my friend, a Hunter, and then Francis randomly teleports down with me. My friend doesn't kill me but kills Francis. W.T.F happened?

4v3 Versus

 

 

We had the advantage of 4 Infected, against 3 survivors and a BillBot. They prepare themselves quickly, like us. I, as a Hunter, go to my favourite building top and watch the scene, near the car, where the T2 weapons spawn. I'm watching, ready to pounce the lone survivor who goes through. A Smoker and a Boomer are postitioning themselves for their attack on the Saferoom roof. I'm not sure what happened, but a Horde rushed in, and next glance at the TAB screen, I see Bill is dead. I don't know what happened, but we managed to kill the rest at the cresendo, thanks to a badly places Boomer, and some Hunters.

4v4 Versus

 

The Survivors (enemies) were progressing well, shoving every Boomer, Hunter and Smoker out of the way. We get annoyed, and plan just to rush them next time we spawn. But whats this? One of us calm players spots a witch, and alerts us of its presence. The Smoker grabs a lone survivor, to the car alarm. The survivor, surprised by this sudden win, shot like crazy, causing an incap on the pulled survivor and another incap of the witch disturber. Our 2 other Hunters got 25 DMG pounces on the remaining, killing them. Victory is sweet eh.

At the usual smoker spot in the crescendo ( under the roof at the door end ), i grabbed one guy as he was jumping from the roof into the window...
I snared him mid jump, and when he fell, he died...
From green to dead, just like that...
Surprised everyone...

I pulled bill down to the edge at the very start, and while all his friends are busy being boomed and hunted, I incap him...
He is saved, and i survive by jumping backwards off the edge...
I run to the zombie ladder, and climb to the top... I turn to look at the survivors, and see that our boomer has just knocked zoey and louis off the edge...
I jump back down and run underneath them just as the recharge finishes, and I drag Francis off...
He doesnt grab the edge, he just falls and dies...

Instant win...
We proceced to get an even 1000 points...

Except our Survivor in the APC at the end was grabbed by a smoker and pulled back out the door... There was no chance for the zombies to accidentally free him either... We lost when it happened...
