v!x played a few friendly matches against the 3rd Fallschirmjager and the Crazy Bill Clan...
I liked my tanking for the night, so here are some tank vids, and a couple of scratches that we found quite funny...
Also, introducing m0ns00n air...! The new way to fly...!
Thanks to the boys from the 3RD and CBC for some entertaining matches...

4v4 Versus...
This is a really old vid, that i only now have had the time and software to put together...
I have somehow lost some of the audio, and needed to speed bits up for some of it to make it fit YouTubes 10 minute limit...
And for some unknown reason, i was unable to split up the finale into smaller chunks, so i hacked the start off it, and sped up the rest...

Map: Blood Harvest Barn...
4v4 Versus...
While our team wasn't looking, Francis had climbed on top of the barn, and somehow fallen off at exactly the right spot to turn around and hang on to the ledge...
Zoey came to save him, and somehow ALSO fell off and hung on for her life...
Bill then came to save those two, and, as smoker, I tried to pull him off in the same spot as the other two that were hanging...
I didn't quite get it right and dragged him off the roof instead...
Louis was the only one left standing, but only just... He had just recovered from being hunted and didn't have much health left...
A single swipe from a ninja hunter solved this problem for us, and we got the team down...

This is the story of a bot fail, and a player who just didnt care as his team had raged on him...
As a Smoker, I spawned in the Death Pull spot, and managed to pull BillBot all the way to the edge...
ZoeyBot and FrancisBot came to his rescue, and ZoeyBot somehow managed to fall off the edge and hang on for her life...
FrancisBot then 'saved' BillBot, sending him falling into the void below...
A Hunter then pounced on FrancisBot before he could rescue ZoeyBot, and Louis, who had run all the way to the last train, also got hunted...

We pulled Bill off the edge at the start, and then I boomed louis...
Somehow, Francis is pushed off the edge, and instead of hanging for his life, falls to his death...
Hunters and horde distractions later, I respawn as a smoker off the edge, and pull Bill off the edge again...
This time, its Zoey who is pushed to her death, and then Louis is hunted on the edge...
Win to Us...

Map: Blood Harvest The Bridge
4v4 Versus
We were progressing well, making occasional splits in groups of two to search for supplies. We heard the Tank music, and planned to sprint across the Bridge, in order to get in. The infected team had not been coordinating well. Were they saving it for the Tank? Well, whatever they 'planned' certainly worked. The Tank managed to somewhat glitch and teleport to the saferoom door. Two Hunters had spawned, the bot Hunter from the Tank got knocked out by a well placed shotgun shell. They got us from behind, and the Tank let them get the kills. We were all silent with amaze ment about the glitch, rather than their Teamwork.

Monday, April 6, 2009 Strangest Tank Spawn...
Map: Blood Harvest Finale...
4v4 Versus...
First tank spawned and we run outside... I got boomed, and put a couple of clips into the oncoming horde, all the while expecting to be hit by the tank...
After it clears up, I was standing around going "wheres the tank...?"
Then I see a cloud of dust on the roof of the house as the tank picks up a chunk of concrete (from the roof......) and throws it at us...
I have never seen the tank spawn on the roof before...
Even when i tried to make it happen on my own server, he still didnt spawn up there...

Map: Blood Harvest Finale...
3v2 Versus...
We had a witch in the corn field, right where you drop into it...
I was a hunter, and we had a smoker and a boomer...
One of the players shot the witch from up the cliff, and both bots jumped down into the corn field...
They got boomed, the witch ran after the one who shot her, and I jumped the last one... Right on the edge of the cliff...
The one the witch was after was smoked, and helpless... He died...
The bots fought off a small horde, and continued to run in circles...
I killed the guy I had pounced in full view of both bots...
We win...
Bots fail...

I pulled bill down to the edge at the very start, and while all his friends are busy being boomed and hunted, I incap him...
He is saved, and i survive by jumping backwards off the edge...
I run to the zombie ladder, and climb to the top... I turn to look at the survivors, and see that our boomer has just knocked zoey and louis off the edge...
I jump back down and run underneath them just as the recharge finishes, and I drag Francis off...
He doesnt grab the edge, he just falls and dies...
Instant win...
We proceced to get an even 1000 points...

Except our Survivor in the APC at the end was grabbed by a smoker and pulled back out the door... There was no chance for the zombies to accidentally free him either... We lost when it happened...

Friend of mine needed only BH to complete What Are You Trying To Prove...
We completed this the night before, with me being the only one to survive...
So we did it again, and again, and again...
For this run, she was on low health when we arrived at the house, and we wanted to try hold out in the barn... So she ran to the barn and had us kill her...
Then we revived her with 50hp, she picked up a med kit, and ran back to the barn...
Repeat this a few times, and you get a Mass Zoey Grave...

Map: Blood Harvest Bridge...
4v4 Versus...
We were going pretty well through the map, not much in the way of hordes, and boomers just failed against us...
When arriving at the train tracks, we heard the witch sobbing, and my team mates jumped over and ran towards the train...
I got hit by a zombie and lost all speed, so I was a bit stuck, fending off zombies on both sides...
I eventually fell over the side and ran to my team mates...
Little did I know the witch was right next to where I fell, and I fired a few shots at zombies while running, and I startled her...
She incapped me, and I was saved by my team...
We kept going, without stopping to heal...
We got to the house near the final stretch, and heard the Tank music start up...
I took my pills, and was all set to go through the house...
But all my team mates went down and around the house, a way I had never seen before...
We all made it around to the other side and started across the bridge...
I was hurting pretty bad, and the tank was behind us somewhere...
My team mates, all running faster than me, were shooting down all the zombies on the way, and one was firing back up the bridge... I turned and saw the tank there and thought "Im fucked..."
It was an intense 50m stumble, thinking that I was gonna get hit by the tank at any second... I finally made it to the saferoom, turned around and saw my mate, who was right behind me the whole way, get smacked by the tank...
He managed to get up and into the saferoom somehow, and we closed the door damn fast...
It was probably the most intense marathon stumble Ive had in the game so far...

I managed to get stuck in a tree as a hunter...
I could crouch, and look around but that was it...
The smoker stood under me hitting me, until the survivors came out...
They didnt seem to see me at all after the smoker pulled Zoey to us...
She got free, boomed, and then ran under me...
I then somehow pounced her...
It was as if I was in mid pounce the whole time....
4v4 Versus...

Sunday, February 1, 2009 Biggest Bug I Ever Did See...!

4v4 Versus...
We had a marvelous come-back, from way behind with 2 rounds to go, to barely in front at the end of the finale...
We slaughtered them early in the last two rounds, and almost made it to the APC to escape...
After the usual 'gg' from everyone, and people leaving, I was the only one left on the server...
I had just finished playing as a survivor, and thought it strange that I respawned as a smoker...
Then the scores disappeared, and I was Louis again, healthy and well in the starting safe room...
I could hear the APC idling, and a tank somewhere too... My bots had already made a run for it, so I followed... The tank got to us at the top of the train... We killed it, and found another waiting in the corn field...
This one killed us, and again I respawned as a smoker...
The scores were added on again, and I respawned as Louis... Again...
So I went running after the bots, and this time found 2 tanks waiting at the train for us... I killed one, and was hammered by the other while the bots helped each other up, with the tank killing me in plain sight...
I quit this endless loop at this point...
