This scenario happened quite a few times over the 2 campaigns we played...<br /><br />I smoked Zoey off the minigun in the finale, and she got stuck on the ledge next to it... I watched francis walk over to her while boomed, getting hit by common all the way, slowly cycle through his weapons, pull out a molotov, and throw it in my general direction... It went past me and set the area behind me alight, but didnt get me at all... other team...<br />When I hit the end of my charge, one survivor in hand, i pressed tab to check the score...<br />2 survivors dead, one on maybe 2 hp, and the other in my hand...<br />Epic charge... We were having a laugh, we weren't going to beat KoD. On the finale of Dead Air, we were on low health, ready for the second assault, using all the kits on the finale area. After the wave, we were all on yellow or incapped red. But something really really strange happened. A Witch spawned behind the fuel tank. Zoey, went behind to see if a sound had looped on her, on us, but no. There was a witch there. Zoey came back round, spamming the chat with Witch Witch Witch. Me and Zoey go up to try and kill her before she does any damage. I'm there to cover if Zoey messed up. We can safely say <EM><STRONG>we</STRONG></EM> messed up. Francis and Louis are covering our behind, while the flanks are left open to attack. I do a quick look round, hear the distinct scream of a Hunter, and panic. Francis shoots at a suspected place, but to no avail. Louis gets smokered and Francis aims to help Louis. I get huntered, and the knockback hits Zoey onto the Witch. She gets incapped and almost dies, about 25 HP away from death, Louis has been saved and I have too, so Francis runs back to get Zoey back up. I'm there, asking KoD if they did anything. They shouldn't of, partly because it was our Clanserver we hosted this Match on. Apparently they didnt close the door...<br />I recovered, and pounced again...<br />The other survivors hadnt noticed, and were fighting off zombies when one was smoked back outside...<br />The third stood there for a second, then followed him to go save him...<br />Another hunter was waiting and pounced him...<br />They all died...<br />We got all 4 out alive with kits...<br /><br />The second map was similar... They got right to the end, and it all fell apart for them...<br />We got 3 out with kits... <br /><br />After our turn as survivors on the 3rd map, the other team all quit... We again got all 4 out with kits...<br /><br />New people joined, and again we got all 4 out with kits, and they died in the baggage area...<br />Bill got to black & white, and was killed by regular infected kicking him in the head from one of the walkways...<br /><br />In the Finale, we lost a player, and so BillBot stepped in...<br />We let him die, and went on to survive...<br />I was incapped on my way onto the plane, but we got 2 out with kits...<br />The opposition all quit again, and 2 new players joined...<br />We managed to smoke one off to the back, and boomed them all...<br />After recovering from that, the 2 that stayed back were hunted, and ZoeyBotand the other player ran forward a little...<br />ZoeyBot came back to try save the hunted ones when the other player was also hunted...<br />ZoeyBotpulled out her pistols and tried to save the player in the distance...<br />He was incapped, and zoey turned around to the one behind her...<br />All the while I was pounding on FrancisBot...<br />ZoeyBot saved louis, and he started shooting at me... they all got boomed again, and then ZoeyBot was hunted... We heard the Tank music, and planned to sprint across the Bridge, in order to get in. The infected team had not been coordinating well. Were they saving it for the Tank? Well, whatever they 'planned' certainly worked. The Tank managed to somewhat glitch and teleport to the saferoom door. Two Hunters had spawned, the bot Hunter from the Tank got knocked out by a well placed shotgun shell. They got us from behind, and the Tank let them get the kills. I'm watching, ready to pounce the lone survivor who goes through. A Smoker and a Boomer are postitioning themselves for their attack on the Saferoom roof. I'm not sure what happened, but a Horde rushed in, and next glance at the TAB screen, I see Bill is dead. We get annoyed, and plan just to rush them next time we spawn. But whats this? One of us calm players spots a witch, and alerts us of its presence. The Smoker grabs a lone survivor, to the car alarm. The survivor, surprised by this sudden win, shot like crazy, causing an incap on the pulled survivor and another incap of the witch disturber. Our 2 other Hunters got 25 DMG pounces on the remaining, killing them. I turn to look at the survivors, and see that our boomer has just knocked zoey and louis off the edge... <br />I jump back down and run underneath them just as the recharge finishes, and I drag Francis off...<br />He doesnt grab the edge, he just falls and dies...<br /><br />Instant win...<br />We proceced to get an even 1000 points...<div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/4345731680615431524-959840842528466816?l=left4deadtales.blogspot.com' alt='' /></div>Creeping Deathhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07710154484473666631noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4345731680615431524.post-72484900137387066992009-03-25T21:29:00.005+11:002009-03-25T21:38:14.584+11:00Map: No Mercy Finale...<br />4v4 Versus...<br /><br />We were on the last tank, doing well, 4 kits and 2 green 2 yellow...<br />Tank hits Zoey off to the right, but she lands on the air con system and lives... he then chases her around the back of the building where she gets smoked...<br />Tank kills the smoker, and tries to hit Zoey off the building, but she grabs the edge instead...<br />All the while, we are all laying into him with shotties and rifles...<br />We kill the tank, and go to help Zoey up... <br />The chopper flies over, and we rush as fast as we can to the heli pad... <br />We have 2 pipes ready to throw...<br />As im running up the ramp to the chopper, I see that the next Tank is already on the helipad...<br />I turn around and throw my pipe at the oncoming horde, and run away...<br />I hear my team mates say the tank is off the ramp, and I turn around and run up it again...<br />The tank is indeed off the ramp, but the smoker is also off to the right, and he grabs me and pulls me that way...<br />I think my team mates kill the smoker, because i find myself free and in a relatively open space...<br />I run up the stairs and see Zoey hit by a rock, losing the last of her HP and getting incapped again...<br />We all decide to leave her there, because the tank is again coming up the ramp...<br />My 2 standing teammates are on the chopper, and Im running towards it when the tank hits me and I go flying sideways...<br />The screen jumps to the chopper taking off and Im going "NOOOOooooo....!"<br />I had plenty of HP, so i guess i must have been hit in such a way that the game decided i was dead already...<br />I check the scoreboard to see, and no, I am still alive... <br />The tank hit me into the chopper...<br />3 escape with 3 kits...
